Stuff happening =)On the job front, I got promoted!!! Yey!!!
Or wait...I don't know if I should call it promoted, 'cause in our company you don't wait around to just suddenly get promoted, you have to actually apply and go through the entire grueling process (interviews, demos, etc.) even though everyone knows you'd be perfect for the job. In my case it's a bit different from what I used to do. It's really quite out of my comfort zone as I usually don't speak too much, but...well, you just have to step out sometimes, you know, if you want to get anywhere. Then there's the fact that I have to leave behind my team and somehow make myself fit in with a new higher level team who I've always thought looked uber cool and smart and really knew how to carry themselves. I'm turning green just thinking I might've gotten myself into something that I couldn't handle. T_TSo anyway I decided to get myself a little celebratory gift today! It's actually a bit overdue, so it's also a Christmas and birthday gift.
Most of you guys probably already have it, it's a DS LITE! Haha so it's not really something new but it is for me as I've always been a PlayStation girl. I did think of getting a DSi, but the camera didn't impress me too much to shell out the extra cash for it plus the DS Lite already has an impressive library of games. I'm pretty excited to play, it's on its first charge as I type. It's also summer here in my country so it's pretty hot, but I have still to hit the beach...T_T But anyway I hope everyone's doing great and happy! Till next!
